The high-strength nylon latches hold the lid down tight to resist forced entry and to seal out the moisture and dust. The interior reinforcing ribs can be used to hold dividers which prevent the cargo from shifting. A self-rising lid utilizes a torsion bar lid and lifts for more convenient access. There is an automotive style lock cylinder with a double-cut key for more convenient access.
